Denmark Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare, and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined by 2.82%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were:
ISS A/S (CSE:ISS): rose 0.15% (0.20 points) to trade at 129.90 at the close.
Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG): fell 0.20% (0.30 points) to end at 150.10.
DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV): down 0.27% (4.00 points) to 1,496.00 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA): fell 5.73% (46.00 points) to trade at 756.50.
Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb): declined 3.68% (28.40 points) to end at 743.20.
GN Store Nord (CSE:GN): down 3.61% (4.90 points) to 130.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 41, with 16 ending unchanged.

Commodity Prices

  • Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.62% (1.14) to $69.44 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for February delivery fell 0.76% (0.56) to hit $72.83 a barrel.
  • February Gold Futures contract fell 1.74% (46.20) to trade at $2,607.10 a troy ounce.

Currency Exchange Rates

  • USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 7.19.
  • EUR/DKK remained unchanged at 7.46.
  • The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 107.96.
