Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods, and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.67%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were:
Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA): rose 5.23% or 40.00 points to trade at 805.00 at the close.
Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb): added 1.85% or 48.00 points to end at 2,640.00.
GN Store Nord (CSE:GN): was up 1.54% or 2.10 points to 138.80 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Genmab (CSE:GMAB): fell 3.13% or 48.00 points to trade at 1,488.00 at the close.
AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa): declined 2.34% or 270.00 points to end at 11,260.00.
Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS): was down 2.04% or 2.00 points to 96.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 61, and 22 ended unchanged.

Commodity Prices

  • Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.44% or 1.01 to $69.28 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for February delivery fell 1.31% or 0.96 to hit $72.56 a barrel.
  • February Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 52.39 to trade at $2,704.31 a troy ounce.

Currency Exchange Rates

  • USD/DKK was unchanged at 7.10.
  • EUR/DKK was unchanged at 7.46.
  • The US Dollar Index Futures remained unchanged at 106.39.
