Denmark Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, driven by gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods, and Healthcare sectors.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.10%.

Best Performers

The best performers on the OMX Copenhagen 20 included:
Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA): +3.18% (+37.50 points) to 1,215.00 at the close.
Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb): +1.88% (+14.50 points) to 785.50.
Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA): +1.79% (+13.50 points) to 769.50.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG): -2.64% (-4.30 points) to 158.80.
Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb): -2.17% (-19.00 points) to 857.00.
AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa): -1.08% (-130.00 points) to 11,920.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 51, with 21 stocks ending unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) reached all-time highs, gaining 3.18% to 1,215.00.

Commodities Update

  • Crude oil for January delivery decreased 1.55% (-1.06) to $67.24 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for February delivery fell 1.32% (-0.95) to $71.14 a barrel.
  • February Gold Futures rose 0.54% (+14.31) to trade at $2,662.71 a troy ounce.

Exchange Rates

  • USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 7.05.
  • EUR/DKK remained unchanged at 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures increased 0.16% to 105.86.
