Delta Air Lines and Saudia Airlines Codeshare Agreement
(Reuters) – Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) announced on Wednesday a codeshare agreement with Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudia Airlines, enhancing connectivity between the United States and the Middle East.
Agreement Details
Under this partnership, both airlines will be able to sell seats on each other’s flights. Delta customers will have access to nine destinations in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Saudia Airlines travelers will benefit from access to 12 destinations in the U.S.
Next Steps
Sales for codeshare itineraries will commence once all necessary government approvals are obtained.
