Daimler Truck Reports Third Quarter Sales Decline
GDANSK (Reuters) – Daimler Truck announced on Wednesday that its third quarter sales fell by 11%. This decline was mainly due to the performance of its core Mercedes-Benz Trucks brand and its operations in Asia.
The world's largest truck manufacturer delivered a total of 114,917 units from July to September, compared to 128,861 units in the same period last year.
Notably, deliveries of fully battery electric trucks increased by 36%, rising from 491 units to 666 units this year.
