HONG KONG (Reuters) – China's Taiwan Affairs Office stated on Wednesday that a U.S. directive requiring Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co to stop shipments of advanced chips to Chinese customers undermines the interests of Taiwanese companies and escalates tensions across the Taiwan Strait.
