The best performers of the session on the S&P/TSX Composite included:

– Equinox Gold Corp (TSX: EQX): added 2.59% or 0.21 points to end at 8.33.
– Restaurant Brands Intl (TSX: QSR): up 1.99% or 1.98 points to 101.70 in late trade.
Worst Performers
Conversely, the worst performers of the session included:
– Seabridge Gold Inc. (TSX: SEA): fell 6.41% or 1.82 points to trade at 26.57.
– BlackBerry Ltd (TSX: BB): declined 5.52% or 0.20 points to end at 3.42.
– Denison Mines Corp (TSX: DML): down 5.06% or 0.16 points to 3.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 648 to 273, while 123 ended unchanged.
Market Volatility
The S&P/TSX 60 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/TSX Composite options, increased by 3.49% to 11.85.
Commodity Prices
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery dropped 1.14% or 31.35 to $2,728.45 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for December delivery fell 1.05% or 0.75 to hit $70.99 a barrel, and the December Brent oil contract decreased 1.10% or 0.84 to trade at $75.20 per barrel.
Currency Exchange
The exchange rates remained stable with CAD/USD unchanged at 0.72, while CAD/EUR remained flat at 0.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 104.24.
