Canadian Stock Market Overview

Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Denison Mines Corp (TSX:DML): fell 2.15% or 0.06 points to trade at 2.73.
– Jamieson Wellness Inc (TSX:JWEL): declined 1.78% or 0.66 points to end at 36.46.
– Telus Corp (TSX:T): down 1.52% or 0.30 points to 19.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
BlackBerry Ltd shares hit 52-week highs with a gain of 4.05%. Conversely, Telus Corp shares fell to 5-year lows.
The S&P/TSX 60 VIX, which measures implied volatility of S&P/TSX Composite options, was down 2.00% to 10.79.

- Gold Futures for February delivery rose 0.70% or 18.49 to $2,653.99 a troy ounce.
- Crude oil for February fell 0.73% or 0.51 to $69.59 a barrel.
- Brent oil for March fell 0.49% or 0.36 to trade at $72.81 a barrel.
Currency Overview
- CAD/USD remained unchanged at 0.69.
- CAD/EUR was unchanged at 0.67.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 107.89.
