Business intelligence firm Strategy has acquired an additional 6,911 Bitcoins, according to a Monday regulatory filing.

With this latest purchase, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings have now surpassed 500,000 Bitcoins.

The average purchasing price is now approaching $67,000.

Earlier today, Bitcoin reached an intraday high of $87,839, surging by nearly 4% in 24 hours.

The shares of MicroStrategy are up by more than 5% in pre-market trading following this announcement.
