Brazil Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Brazil stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the Basic Materials, Public Utilities, and Electric Power sectors dragging down shares.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa index fell by 0.55%, marking a new one-month low.

The session's best performers on the Bovespa included:
– IRB Brasil Resseguros SA (BVMF:IRBR3): +12.29% (5.22 points) to 47.71
– Atacadao SA (BVMF:CRFB3): +5.24% (0.37 points) to 7.43

On the downside, the worst performers were:

- USD/BRL was unchanged at 5.69.
- EUR/BRL remained steady at 6.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.32% to 104.24.
