Brazilian Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Utilities, Real Estate, and Electric Power sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa fell 0.04%.

- BRF SA (BVMF:BRFS3): rose 5.58% or 1.47 points to trade at 27.80 at the close.
- Lwsa SA (BVMF:LWSA3): added 4.58% or 0.16 points to end at 3.65.
- RUMO Logistica Operadora Multimodal SA (BVMF:RAIL3): up 2.77% or 0.52 points to 19.28 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Azzas 2154 SA (BVMF:AZZA3): fell 4.49% or 1.65 points to trade at 35.09 at the close.
- MRV Engenharia e Participacoes SA (BVMF:MRVE3): declined 4.19% or 0.22 points to end at 5.03.
- Hapvida Participacoes e Investimentos (BVMF:HAPV3): down 3.32% or 0.09 points to 2.62.

Gold Futures for February delivery increased 0.22% or 5.90 to $2,673.80 a troy ounce. In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery fell 1.80% or 1.26 to $68.68 a barrel, while March US coffee C contract rose 2.08% or 6.15 to $301.65.
Currency Overview
- USD/BRL was unchanged at 6.04.
- EUR/BRL remained stable at 6.35.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged at 106.34.
