Bitget Hires Former Binance Executive as Chief Business Officer

Crypto exchange Bitget has announced the hiring of Min Lin, former regional vice president at Binance, as its new chief business officer. Lin, who oversaw Binance's operations in Latin America and focused on business development starting in 2023, will lead Bitget's expansion efforts.

Experience and Background

Lin brings a wealth of experience from both traditional finance and the web3 space, including a role as executive director in Goldman Sachs' global markets division.

Bitget ranks among the top 10 largest crypto exchanges, serving 45 million users globally. The platform has reported a remarkable 98% increase in active users in 2024.

While at Binance, Lin played a crucial role in establishing licensing agreements and building relationships with regulators, which facilitated compliance and strategic growth. As Bitget’s CBO, he aims to enhance the exchange's presence in key regions, particularly in Latin America.
