Bitcoin Spot ETFs Report Significant Outflows

Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced nearly $388 million in outflows between December 23 and 27. However, Fidelity’s FBTC ETF managed to gain $183 million during this period.

Bitcoin ETFs’ net asset value stands at $106.683 billion. The contrasting performances of various ETFs make it challenging to gauge investor sentiment around Christmas.

Ethereum ETFs Experience Major Inflows

In contrast, Ethereum spot ETFs saw $349 million in inflows during the same period. BlackRock’s ETHA led with $182 million, followed closely by Fidelity’s FETH with $160 million.

This trend indicates a growing investor interest in ETH, highlighting its expanding ecosystem compared to Bitcoin ETFs.

Predictions for Ether in Q1 2025

Analysts are optimistic about Ether’s performance in the first quarter of 2025, although they caution that overall market conditions may slow growth. Expert CK Zheng anticipates that strong inflows will be driven by forthcoming crypto-friendly regulations under a new Trump administration.
