Binance Introduces ‘Vote to Delist’ Mechanism
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a new initiative involving user participation in altcoin listing and delisting processes.
New Voting Poll
In its latest announcement, Binance launched the “Vote to Delist” poll, which lets users decide which altcoin will be removed from listings.
Users can vote for altcoins marked with Watch Tags that they wish to see delisted. Binance aims to pursue a community-driven approach for this pilot project.
Voting Details
- Users can cast their vote for a maximum of 5 altcoins from the delisting vote pool.
- The altcoins eligible for voting include:
- JasmyCoin (JASMY)
- ZCash (ZEC)
- FTX Token (FTT)
- ELF
- SNT
- STPT
- Balancer (BAL)
- ARK
- GoPlus Security (GPS)
- MBL
- Prosper (PROS)
- CTCX
- HARD
- BADGER
- CREAM
- FIRO
- VIDT
- NULS
- TROY
- ALPACA

It’s important to note that while user votes will influence the decision, they will not solely determine which altcoins are delisted. Binance will conduct an official review based on its standards and processes.
