Belgium Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Belgium stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods, and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Brussels, the BEL 20 rose 0.68% to hit a new 52-week high.

• Umicore SA (EBR:UMI): +4.20% (up 0.46 points to end at 11.40)

Worst Performers

• UCB SA (EBR:UCB): -2.82% (down 4.75 points to trade at 163.85)
• Argen-X (EBR:ARGX): -1.75% (down 8.50 points to end at 476.60)
• D’Ieteren NV (EBR:IETB): -0.47% (down 0.90 points to 191.60)

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 61 to 34, with 11 ending unchanged.

Commodities Update

• Gold Futures for December delivery: up 0.27% or 7.30 to $2,692.00 a troy ounce.
• Crude Oil for November: down 2.02% or 1.41 to hit $68.28 a barrel.
• Brent Oil for December: down 1.77% or 1.29 to trade at $71.61 a barrel.

• EUR/GBP: unchanged at 0.83
• US Dollar Index Futures: down 0.34% at 100.28.
