Belgium Stocks Rise
Investing.com – Belgium stocks were higher after the close on Friday, with gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods, and Technology sectors leading the positive momentum.
At the close in Brussels, the BEL 20 added 0.27%, reaching a new 52-week high.
Best Performers
- Ackermans & Van Haaren NV (EBR:ACKB): rose 4.17% (+7.20 points) to trade at 179.80.
- Elia (EBR:ELI): gained 2.01% (+1.95 points) to end at 99.10.
- Solvay SA (EBR:SOLB): up 1.99% (+0.62 points) to 31.70 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Galapagos NV (AS:GLPG): fell 1.71% (-0.46 points) to trade at 26.38.
- Argen-X (EBR:ARGX): declined 1.27% (-6.00 points) to end at 468.10.
- Anheuser Busch Inbev SA NV (EBR:ABI): down 0.40% (-0.22 points) to 55.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 57 to 35, with 17 stocks ending unchanged.
