Top 11 Blockchains by New Wallet Addresses

1. Base

Base, the L2 blockchain network powered by Coinbase exchange, emerged as the top-performing blockchain, showcasing its dominance. Over the past seven days, Base drew in 2.8 million new wallets that made their first transactions on the platform.

2. BNB

The second best-performing blockchain is BNB, which added 2 million wallet addresses over the last seven days. This massive record has been triggered by expanded user activity on the BNB Chain due to new DeFi platforms launching on the network.

3. Ethereum

Ethereum attracted 752,000 new wallet addresses during this period. This rise shows impressive interest in the Ethereum ecosystem despite current price decreases, with ETH price currently at $2,301 after a 15.4% decline over the past week.

4. Polygon

Polygon is the fourth best-performing blockchain, pulling in 562,000 new wallet addresses. This growth is attributed to increased adoption of DApps developed on Polygon.

5. Arbitrum

Arbitrum took the fifth position with 460,000 new addresses created. This rise is due to new users interacting with its NFTs and DeFi features.
