Tabcorp Holdings Workforce Reductions
(Reuters) – Australian betting and gambling firm Tabcorp Holdings has laid off 10% of its workforce, approximately 200 roles, to cut costs and simplify its business, according to the Australian Financial Review.
The media outlet indicated that the reductions are taking place across all divisions, including the media arm, but notably not in its horse-racing broadcasting channel, Sky Racing.
Shares of the wagering company closed 1.8% lower at A$0.276.
Tabcorp has not provided an immediate response to a request for confirmation from Reuters.
