Amazon Launches Amazon Haul
(Reuters) – Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) has launched a low-cost e-commerce service, Amazon Haul, for select customers in the United States. This service offers a variety of products priced at $20 or less, aimed at competing with Chinese firms like Shein and PDD Holdings' Temu.
In August, CEO Andy Jassy noted that average selling prices were decreasing as customers shifted towards cheaper items and essential goods. The company stated that most products under Amazon Haul will be priced at $10 or under, with some items available for as little as $1.
The new low-cost service can be accessed through the Amazon app, where users can search for "Haul". It will be available to customers once they update their Amazon shopping app.
