Costco (NASDAQ:COST) fell 1% despite beating quarterly estimates on both the top and bottom line. Its 16-week total adjusted comps grew 6.9%, excluding the impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange.
Scholastic Corp (NASDAQ:SCHL) rose 9% after revenue topped estimates. Despite being a seasonally quiet quarter for school-based channels, the first quarter’s operating loss improved modestly compared to the previous year.
Travere Therapeutics (TVTX) fell 4% after announcing a voluntary pause in enrollment for the Phase 3 HARMONY Study, which evaluates pegtibatinase for the treatment of classical homocystinuria (HCU). This pause allows the company to implement necessary process improvements in manufacturing scale-up to support commercial manufacturing and full enrollment in the study.
MeridianLink (MLNK) fell 4% after announcing an underwritten secondary public offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock by certain funds managed by Thoma Bravo.
