Italy Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology, and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.60%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were:
– Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM), which rose 1.94% or 0.23 points to trade at 12.22 at the close.
– STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI) added 1.68% or 0.43 points to end at 25.75.
– Pirelli & C SPA (BIT:PIRC) was up 1.67% or 0.09 points to 5.37 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– DiaSorin SpA (BIT:DIAS), which fell 1.15% or 1.20 points to trade at 103.05 at the close.
– Amplifon (BIT:AMPF) declined 1.13% or 0.31 points to end at 27.06.
– Poste Italiane SpA (BIT:PST) was down 0.43% or 0.06 points to 12.66.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 315 to 186, and 51 ended unchanged.
Commodities Update
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.35% or 0.26 to $73.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading:
– Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.60% or 0.46 to hit $76.72 a barrel.
– The December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.95 to trade at $2,633.45 a troy ounce.
Currency Market
- EUR/USD was unchanged 0.31% to 1.09.
- EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 102.61.
