Eamon Brabazon Appointed Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions

By Anousha Sakoui

LONDON (Reuters) – Bank of America has named Eamon Brabazon co-head of global mergers and acquisitions, alongside Ivan Farman, according to an internal email seen by Reuters.

Brabazon, who has been with the bank for around nine years, was most recently head of M&A in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The bank stated that Brabazon advised on some of its highest-profile deals and emphasized that M&A is critical to the success of its investment banking franchise.

"Together, Eamon and Ivan will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the platform and for ensuring that our efforts are coordinated globally," said Alex Bettamio and Thomas Sheehan, co-heads of global investment banking, in a joint memo to employees on Tuesday.

Based in London, Brabazon has over 20 years of experience in dealmaking and joined Bank of America in 2015 as head of financial sponsors M&A. He was previously at JP Morgan.
