Denmark Stocks Close Lower

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials, and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.45% to hit a new 6-month low.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were:
Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), rose 0.49% or 2.10 points to trade at 429.00.
Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), added 0.22% or 1.80 points to end at 809.60.
Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was unchanged at 259.00.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), fell 3.61% or 385.00 points to 10,270.00.
Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), declined 3.37% or 27.50 points to 788.00.
AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 3.20% or 330.00 points to 9,970.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 42, with 26 ending unchanged.

  • Crude oil for November delivery was up 4.11% or 2.88 to $72.98 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.87% or 2.86 to hit $76.76 a barrel.
  • The December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.80 to trade at $2,671.50 a troy ounce.

  • USD/DKK was up 0.31% to 6.77.
  • EUR/DKK was unchanged at 7.46.
  • The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.81.
