Justin Sun Receives $8.75 Million Airdrop from EigenLayer
According to Arkham Intelligence, Tron founder Justin Sun received $8.75 million from an EigenLayer EIGEN airdrop. The blockchain analytics platform posted on X, asking, “How much did you get?”

On Tuesday, EigenLayer lifted transfer restrictions on its EIGEN token, enabling trading on various exchanges. This decision follows the distribution of 86 million tokens during the protocol’s second “stakedrop” season. Both this stakedrop and the one held in April initially issued non-transferable tokens.
Sun appears to be holding his EIGEN on HTX, where he serves on the advisory board. In February, he shared a screenshot of his HTX wallet, claiming to hold $1.6 billion in crypto.
As of 2:27 p.m. ET, EIGEN was trading at $4.18, and EigenLayer boasts a fully diluted valuation exceeding $7 billion. EigenLayer enables users to stake ether to secure third-party networks or validated services, currently showing a total value locked of over $12 billion, less than its peak of $20 billion seen in June.
