Japan Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Paper & Pulp, Machinery, and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 rose 2.41% to hit a new 1-month high.

Commodities Update
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.48% or 1.73 to $67.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading:
– Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.37% or 1.73 to hit $71.17 a barrel.
– The December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 1.00 to trade at $2,683.70 a troy ounce.

- EUR/JPY rose 0.15% to 161.41.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 100.51.
