Zellic Acquires Code4rena for Enhanced Blockchain Audits

Blockchain security audit provider Zellic has acquired Code4rena, a smart contracting auditing platform and competitor. This marks Zellic’s first acquisition, aimed at providing clients with comprehensive security reviews.

Combining Expertise

Zellic and Code4rena will merge their skills to bolster security offerings. Clients can anticipate Zellic’s consultative audits alongside Code4rena’s competitive audit coverage and creativity, as stated in a press release shared with The Block.

“Zellic’s mission has always been to do the best audits,” said Zellic CEO Luna Tong.

Introduction of Audits+

Tong introduced a new feature, Audits+, which combines Zellic’s deep expertise with the extensive competitions hosted by Code4rena. According to Tong, “Audits+ sets a new standard for what it means for a project to have been thoroughly reviewed. It’s a huge win for clients.”

Zellic’s CTO, Jazzy Bedi, emphasized that the combination of Zellic’s security team and Code4rena’s diverse expertise will be unmatched.

Continued Independence for Code4rena

Code4rena’s CEO, known as Sock, expressed excitement about the collaboration, reassuring users that Code4rena will maintain its independent operations and the same level of trust and reliability.

Endorsement from Paradigm

The partnership received endorsement from samczsun, a research partner at Paradigm, who stated that Zellic is one of the top auditing firms globally. Last year, Paradigm funded Code4rena’s DAO to incentivize independent auditors with a $6 million token purchase.
