Pyth Network Partners with The Open Network (TON)
Pyth Network announced on Wednesday a partnership with The Open Network (TON).
The partnership focuses on Pyth’s oracle service, which enables users to request price data on-demand. Pyth will enhance gaming experiences on the TON blockchain by supplying accurate data feeds, aiding developers in creating better in-game economies.
Pyth’s oracle aims to help TON projects reach a global audience by providing real-time price data, essential for DeFi services that prioritize fast transactions.
Beyond gaming and DeFi, Pyth anticipates its service will assist new Web3 users who seek responsiveness comparable to Web2 services.
Originally developed for the Solana blockchain, Pyth Network now operates across more than 70 blockchains, including Solana, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Base, delivering market data for cryptocurrencies, equities, FX, and commodities.
In parallel, the TON network has seen significant user growth and adoption this year, largely driven by casual games available on the Telegram messaging app, and currently holds a total value locked exceeding $600 million.
