Cardano Founder Addresses White House Summit Absence

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), explained his absence from the White House Crypto Summit, prioritizing Cardano’s growth and decentralization over seeking government recognition.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed gratitude for the community’s support and emphasized that criticizing government officials does not lead to productive change. Instead, he urged the Cardano community to concentrate on ecosystem development rather than government lobbying.

The summit gathered crypto industry leaders and U.S. officials to discuss regulatory frameworks for digital assets. Hoskinson’s absence led to discussions within the crypto community regarding the reasons for his omission.

He reaffirmed his commitment to Cardano’s key values, stating, “The most impactful thing we can do as an ecosystem is to focus on our ecosystem, its growth, and its competitiveness.” He also mentioned Cardano’s global outreach and his intention to return to Japan, emphasizing the need to engage with the worldwide community to enhance the ecosystem.
