Canadian Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Canada stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Materials, IT, and Clean Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Toronto, the S&P/TSX Composite declined 0.57%.

The best performers of the session on the S&P/TSX Composite were:
– National Bank of Canada (TSX:NA): rose 5.86% or 7.02 points to trade at 126.91 at the close.
– Canadian Western Bank (TSX:CWB): added 4.48% or 2.25 points to end at 52.42.
– Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY): was up 2.18% or 3.41 points to 159.98 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Kinaxis Inc (TSX:KXS): fell 14.54% or 22.79 points to trade at 133.95 at the close.
– Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX:IVN): declined 5.58% or 1.06 points to end at 17.93.
