Permissionless Liquidity Layer Orderly Integrates with Berachain
Berachain, having recently launched its BERA token, is a Layer-1 (L1) blockchain utilizing a unique Proof-of-Liquidity consensus mechanism.
Orderly Teams Up with Berachain to Enhance Cross-Chain Liquidity
Orderly’s integration with Berachain reflects its commitment to support early-stage high-performance blockchains. Currently, Orderly backs a diverse array of chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Solana.
This development aims to provide seamless cross-chain liquidity for DeFi builders and traders. Decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and perpetual protocols within the Berachain ecosystem will benefit from deep cross-chain liquidity.
Orderly has garnered support from over 20 professional market makers, such as Wintermute and Riverside, ensuring optimal trading experiences through significant market depth and tight spreads.
> “Berachain’s Proof-of-Liquidity model represents an evolution in blockchain consensus, aligning network security with DeFi liquidity. Integrating Orderly’s omnichain liquidity layer empowers Berachain projects to move from zero to one efficiently,” stated Orderly Co-Founder Ran Yi.
Since Berachain’s launch and the introduction of the BERA token on Binance, it has rapidly ascended, boasting over $3 billion in total value locked (TVL) and ranking as the sixth-largest blockchain in DeFi, surpassing Base L2.
This growth highlights strong interest in the network’s consensus model, though challenges such as price volatility and selling pressure have arisen. The BERA token has seen increased sell-offs, attributed to liquidity concerns and profit-taking after its airdrop.
Additionally, controversy involves Berachain’s co-founder, alleged to have dumped tokens following a major airdrop, raising concerns over fair distribution and market manipulation.
Nonetheless, some analysts maintain optimism for Berachain’s future, with BERA rallying nearly 15% recently, and projections suggesting a potential rise to $9 if bullish trends continue.
