Inclusive Layer

Delta Blockchain Fund founder Kavita Gupta is launching a new startup called Inclusive Layer, aimed at enabling users to build blockchain applications across multiple chains without requiring extensive coding skills.

The product intends to eliminate technical barriers and facilitate liquidity aggregation among Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, or Arbitrum, as stated in a press release. The first application on Inclusive Layer is a cross-chain trading service named Caishen.

These so-called picks and shovels offerings could effectively alleviate the complexities of blockchain development, particularly during a surge of new participants in the field. Despite established competitors like Alchemy and Swing, there remains a demand for assistance in simplifying the development of cross-chain decentralized applications (dapps).

In recent years, Gupta frequently received inquiries about creating cross-chain options, perpetuals, or even memecoins, which motivated her to address this gap.

> “Everybody really wants to build between Base and Solana,” Gupta mentioned in an interview. “But building between those two and having them integrated is not at all easy. I started to see a huge gap: Why are people not able to build a robust white-label cross-chain solution?”

Gupta, who previously worked at ConsenSys Ventures, has partnered with Blas Rodríguez Irizar, former CTO of Composable Foundation and a software engineer at ConsenSys, for this venture.

Both Inclusive Layer and Caishen have received incubation from Delta Blockchain Fund, with additional support from GSR and Borderless.
