SynFutures Introduces Synthia: An AI Trading Agent
Decentralized derivatives exchange SynFutures has launched Synthia, an AI trading agent enabling traders to swap or transfer assets using natural language commands.
SynFutures is currently the largest DEX on Coinbase’s layer-2 network Base, achieving a 24-hour volume of $220 million and liquidity of $768 million.
Phased Rollout of Synthia
Synthia will be released in three phases:
- Phase One: Integration on social media platform X with the ability to respond to basic commands like “swap 100 USDC for ETH.”
- Phase Two: Allowing traders and developers to deploy AI agents tailored to specific needs such as futures trading and liquidity management.
- Phase Three: Introduction of a meta agent capable of creating and managing multiple agents for complex workflows and trading strategies.
The Role of AI in Trading
AI in trading is not a new concept; a report from last year suggests that around 65% of all equities trading is executed via algorithms. The deployment of AI could revolutionize how traders engage with blockchain trading and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Rachel Lin, co-founder and CEO of SynFutures, stated, “Our vision extends beyond this launch—we plan to develop a framework that will fundamentally transform how users interact and integrate with the onchain economy.”
