Poland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media, Construction, and Information Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 added 0.13%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were:
- X Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski SA (WA:XTB): up 3.08% (2.08 points) to trade at 69.54 at the close.
- BUDIMEX SA (WA:BDXP): added 2.25% (10.40 points) to end at 473.40.
- Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:KTY): up 1.26% (8.50 points) to 685.00 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
- Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW): fell 2.79% (0.58 points) to trade at 20.20 at the close.
- Orange Polska SA (WA:OPL): declined 1.88% (0.14 points) to end at 7.29.
- Kruk SA (WA:KRU): down 0.91% (3.80 points) to 415.60.

Notable Declines

- Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.09% (0.06) to $70.10 a barrel.
- Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.24% (0.90) to $73.22 a barrel.
- February Gold Futures were unchanged at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.

- EUR/PLN was up 0.41% to 4.27.
- USD/PLN rose 0.26% to 4.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
