Turkey Stocks Rise After Close
Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, with gains in the Transport, Real Estate Investments, and Wholesale & Retail Trade sectors leading shares upward.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.14%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were:
– Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayi AS (IS:AKSA): Up 4.05% or 0.46 points, trading at 11.81.
– Turkiye Halk Bankasi (IS:HALKB): Added 3.30% or 0.54 points, ending at 16.91.
– Bera Holding AS (IS:BERA): Up 2.82% or 0.44 points, closing at 16.06.
Worst Performers
The worst performers were:
– Enerya Enerji AS (IS:ENERY): Fell 6.45% or 18.75 points, closing at 272.00.
– Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER): Declined 5.19% or 2.36 points, ending at 43.08.
– Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS (IS:TOASO): Down 2.70% or 5.40 points, closing at 194.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 357 to 209, while 14 remained unchanged.
Shares in Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) fell to 52-week lows, at 43.08.

- Crude Oil (January delivery): Fell 2.33% or 1.65 to $69.06 a barrel.
- Brent Oil (February contract): Down 1.68% or 1.24, trading at $72.67 a barrel.
Currency Exchange
- USD/TRY: Up 0.11% to 34.99.
- EUR/TRY: Rose 0.25% to 36.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.04% at 106.60.
