Denmark Stocks Close Lower

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas, and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.58%.

NKT Holding (CSE:NKT): up 1.57% or 8.00 points to 517.50

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb): fell 3.89% or 30.50 points to trade at 754.00
Genmab (CSE:GMAB): declined 3.33% or 49.50 points to end at 1,438.50

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 64, with 23 ending unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) fell to three-year lows, dropping 3.33% or 49.50 to 1,438.50.

Commodities

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.31% or 0.92 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading:
Brent oil for February rose 1.05% or 0.77 to hit $74.18 a barrel
February Gold Futures fell 1.09% or 29.41 to trade at $2,679.99 a troy ounce.

Currency Exchange Rates

  • USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 7.11
  • EUR/DKK was unchanged at 7.46

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.69.
