Danish Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods, and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.55% to hit a new 1-month high.
Top Performers
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were:
– Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb): Up 1.30% or 5.40 points to trade at 422.00.
– NKT Holding (CSE:NKT): Up 1.19% or 6.00 points to end at 509.50.
– Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA): Up 1.11% or 14.00 points to 1,276.50 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS): Down 2.50% or 2.50 points to trade at 98.30.
– Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED): Down 2.11% or 7.60 points to end at 353.00.
– Genmab (CSE:GMAB): Down 1.32% or 20.50 points to 1,536.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange 67 to 65, with 20 ending unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to all-time highs; up 1.11% or 14.00 to 1,276.50.
Commodity Market
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.56% or 1.07 to $69.66 a barrel. In commodities trading:
– Brent oil for February delivery rose 1.16% or 0.84 to $73.03 a barrel.
– February Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 34.44 to trade at $2,752.84 a troy ounce.
Currency Market
- USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 7.11.
- EUR/DKK was unchanged at 7.46.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 106.36.
