Greece Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, with losses in the Telecoms, Household, and Basic Resources sectors leading shares downward.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite decreased by 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were:
- Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr): Rose 3.08% or 0.09 points to trade at 2.85 at the close.
- Interlife General Insurance Company SA (AT:INLIFr): Added 2.38% or 0.11 points to end at 4.74.
- Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr): Up 2.35% or 0.09 points to 3.92 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session included:
- Public Power (AT:DEHr): Fell 1.99% or 0.24 points to trade at 11.84.
- Jumbo SA (AT:BABr): Declined 1.96% or 0.52 points to end at 26.06.
- Alumil (AT:ALMr): Down 1.55% or 0.07 points to 4.13.

Commodities Update
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 1.43% or 38.91 to $2,757.31 a troy ounce. In commodity trading:
- Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.17% or 0.80 to hit $69.39 a barrel.
- February Brent oil contract rose 0.87% or 0.63 to trade at $72.82 a barrel.
Currency Exchange
- EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.05 (up 0.39%).
- EUR/GBP was unchanged at 0.82 (up 0.18%).
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 106.42.
