Norway Stock Market Report
Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, led by gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, and Utilities sectors.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.18%.
Best Performers
- Nel ASA (OL:NEL) rose 5.84% or 0.17 points to trade at 3.03.
- Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) added 2.10% or 2.08 points to end at 101.00.
- Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was up 1.90% or 2.90 points to 155.40 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) fell 1.53% or 4.15 points to trade at 267.10.
- Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) declined 1.48% or 0.60 points to end at 39.88.
- TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was down 1.44% or 1.60 points to 109.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 187 to 100, with 20 remaining unchanged.
Shares of Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) fell to 52-week lows, losing 1.48% or 0.60 to 39.88.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $69.88 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent oil for February fell 0.08% or 0.06 to $73.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.56 to trade at $2,679.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged at 11.63, while USD/NOK remained stable at 11.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 106.23.
