Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.13% or 250.00 points to trade at 11,975.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.03% or 230.00 points to end at 11,570.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.70% or 19.00 points to 1,136.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 4.24% or 114.00 points to trade at 2,574.00 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.51% or 14.00 points to end at 544.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.91% or 3.60 points to 391.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.67% or 0.46 to $69.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 20.26 to trade at $2,685.06 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.02.
