Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.27% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 8.81% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 12,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 7.71% or 570.00 points to end at 7,960.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was up 7.27% or 630.00 points to 9,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC), which fell 2.45% or 980.00 points to trade at 39,000.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.79% or 70.00 points to end at 3,830.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) was down 1.30% or 6.00 points to 456.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) rose to 5-year highs; rising 7.27% or 630.00 to 9,300.00.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.44% or 7.22 to $302.92 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 3.58% or 309.00 to hit $8,944.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 36.40 to trade at $2,711.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.67% to 4,419.60, while BRL/COP rose 0.91% to 761.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 107.46.
