(NYSE: DLB) rose 11% after it reported fourth quarter results that beat analysts' estimates on the bottom line. On a non-GAAP basis, fourth quarter net income was $78 million, or $0.81 per diluted share, compared to $64 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023.
Powell Industries
(NASDAQ: POWL) fell 10% after its fourth quarter revenue fell short of analysts' estimates. Revenues totaled $275 million, an increase of 32%, but below the average analyst estimate.
Viking Therapeutics
(NASDAQ: VKTX) rose 1.7% after it announced that final results from the company's Phase 2b clinical trial of VK2809, the company's novel liver-selective thyroid hormone receptor beta agonist, in patients with biopsy-confirmed non-alcoholic steatohepatitis were highlighted in an oral late breaker presentation at the 75th Liver Meeting 2024, the annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD).
Keysight Technologies
(NYSE: KEYS) rose 10% after its fourth quarter results beat estimates. Non-GAAP net income was $288 million, or $1.65 per share, compared with $352 million, or $1.99 per share in the fourth quarter of 2023.
