Poland Stock Market Update
Poland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Construction, and Chemicals sectors led shares down.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.98%.

- Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW): +1.34% or +0.35 points to end at 26.50.
- Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:KTY): +1.15% or +8.00 points to 705.00 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Alior Bank SA (WA:ALRR): -4.48% or -4.24 points to trade at 90.36 at the close.
- Pepco Group Nv (WA:PCOP): -3.53% or -0.61 points to end at 16.56.
- BUDIMEX SA (WA:BDXP): -3.08% or -15.40 points to 484.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 314 to 207, with 105 ending unchanged.
Shares in Pepco Group Nv fell to all-time lows, losing 3.53% to 16.56. BUDIMEX SA shares fell to 52-week lows, down 3.08% to 484.00.
Commodities Update
- Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.22% to $68.27 a barrel.
- Brent oil for January rose 0.25% to $72.07 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures fell 0.48% to $2,593.80 a troy ounce.
Currency Update
- EUR/PLN was down 0.17% to 4.34.
- USD/PLN rose 0.30% to 4.11.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 106.28.
