Portugal Stocks Close Higher
Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Monday as gains in the Industrials, Utilities, and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI rose 0.51%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the PSI were:
– Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA): rose 3.61% or 0.09 points to trade at 2.64 at the close.
– EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR): added 2.31% or 0.25 points to end at 11.08.
– CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT): up 1.96% or 0.09 points to 4.43 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI:JMT): fell 0.86% or 0.16 points to trade at 18.52.
– Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP): declined 0.38% or 0.06 points to end at 15.73.
– Semapa (ELI:SEM): down 0.28% or 0.04 points to 14.08.

Commodities Overview
Brent oil for January delivery was down 2.67% or 1.97 to $71.90 a barrel. Crude oil for delivery in December fell 3.00% or 2.11 to hit $68.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.75% or 74.20 to trade at $2,620.60 a troy ounce.

- EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.83.
