Israel Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 2.60% to hit a new all-time high.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were:
– NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE): rose 8.81% or 5,790.00 points to trade at 71,500.00 at the close.
– Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM): added 6.86% or 1,110.00 points to end at 17,280.00.
– Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF): increased 3.90% or 610.00 points to 16,260.00 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA): fell 0.89% or 58.00 points to trade at 6,478.00.
– OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE): declined 0.87% or 27.00 points to end at 3,066.00.
– Nova (TASE:NVMI): was down 0.79% or 600.00 points to 74,900.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 345 to 114, with 80 ending unchanged.
Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) rose to all-time highs; rising 3.90% or 610.00 to 16,260.00.
Commodities Update
- Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.74% or 1.98 to $70.38 a barrel.
- Brent oil for January delivery fell 2.33% or 1.76 to hit $73.87 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 11.00 to trade at $2,694.80 a troy ounce.
Currency Update
- USD/ILS was up 0.81% to 3.75.
- EUR/ILS remained unchanged at 4.01.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 104.89.
