Finland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.75%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were:
– Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 3.62% or 0.33 points to trade at 9.30 at the close.
– Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 1.64% or 0.30 points to end at 18.55.
– Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was up 1.21% or 0.70 points to 58.69 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 3.39% or 0.45 points to trade at 12.82 at the close.
– Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 2.79% or 0.25 points to end at 8.84.
– KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 2.61% or 1.33 points to 49.63.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 71, with 16 ending unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj fell to 5-year lows, losing 3.39% to 12.82. Conversely, shares in Cargotec Oyj rose to all-time highs, increasing 1.21% to 58.69.
Commodity Market
- Brent oil for January delivery was down 2.74% to $73.56 a barrel.
- Crude oil for delivery in December fell 3.15% to $70.08 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% to $2,691.60 a troy ounce.
Currency Exchange
- EUR/USD was down 0.88% to 1.07.
- EUR/GBP unchanged 0.22% at 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 104.93.
