Poland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas, and Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 declined by 0.34%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were:
– Dino Polska SA (WA:DNP): rose 14.20% or 49.00 points to trade at 394.00.
– Eurocash SA (WA:EUR): added 3.53% or 0.30 points to end at 8.79.
– Enea SA (WA:ENAE): up 2.14% or 0.24 points to 11.45.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:KTY): fell 3.40% or 24.50 points to trade at 695.50.
– KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:KGH): declined 3.17% or 4.80 points to end at 146.65.
– Text SA (WA:TXTP): down 2.97% or 1.70 points to 55.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 255 to 247, with 115 ending unchanged.
Shares in Text SA (WA:TXTP) fell to 3-year lows, down 2.97% or 1.70 to 55.50.
Commodity Trading
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.94% or 2.13 to $70.23 a barrel. In commodities trading:
– Brent oil for January fell 2.54% or 1.92 to hit $73.71 a barrel.
– December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.95 to trade at $2,692.85 a troy ounce.
Currency Updates
- EUR/PLN was up 0.43% to 4.33.
- USD/PLN rose 1.19% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 104.84.
