Israel Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, led by gains in the Biomed, Banking, and Financials sectors.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.02%.

Top Performers

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 included:
Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI): rose 1.46% or 57.00 points to 3,963.00.
Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG): added 1.33% or 380.00 points to end at 29,030.00.
Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO): increased 1.25% or 1,030.00 points to 83,130.00.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT): fell 6.05% or 1,790.00 points to 27,800.00.
Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR): declined 2.48% or 4,230.00 points to 166,300.00.
Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp): down 1.87% or 21.00 points to 1,103.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 191, with 81 ending unchanged.

Shares in Bank Hapoalim reached all-time highs, and shares in Azrieli Group rose to 52-week highs.

Commodities Update

  • Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.33% to $69.49 a barrel.
  • Brent oil for January rose 0.40% to $73.10.
  • Gold Futures for December fell slightly, trading at $2,749.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS remained unchanged at 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 104.20.
