E.coli Outbreak Linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounder
(Reuters) – Ninety people have been infected from the E.coli outbreak linked to McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) Quarter Pounder hamburgers, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Wednesday.
The outbreak was first reported on Oct. 22. As of Oct. 24, the FDA indicated that 75 people have fallen ill, with 22 hospitalized due to the outbreak, which has also resulted in one death.
