Taiwan Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, with losses in the Oil, Gas & Electricity and Auto sectors leading shares downward.

At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted lost 1.17%.

• Arima Communications Corp (TW:8101): rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close.
• Anderson Industrial Corp (TW:1528): added 10.00% or 1.90 points to end at 20.90.
• Meiloon Industrial Co Ltd (TW:2477): up 9.93% or 3.45 points to 38.20 in late trade.

Worst Performers

• Lead Data Inc (TW:2443): fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57.
• Lien Chang Electronic Enterprise Co Ltd (TW:2431): declined 8.57% or 1.65 points to end at 17.60.
• Uniflex Technology Inc (TW:3321): down 8.36% or 1.50 points to 16.45.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Arima Communications Corp reached 3-year highs; gaining 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50. Meiloon Industrial Co also reached 3-year highs; gaining 9.93% or 3.45 to 38.20.

Commodities Update

• Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.77% or 0.52 to $67.73 a barrel.
• Brent oil for January delivery rose 0.68% or 0.48 to hit $71.21 a barrel.
• December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.80 to trade at $2,793.90 a troy ounce.
