Wolfspeed Responsible for Microchip Manufacturing Project in Germany
FRANKFURT (Reuters) – U.S. chipmaker Wolfspeed (NYSE:WOLF) is responsible for the microchip manufacturing project planned in western Germany, according to automotive supplier ZF, which announced on Tuesday that it would withdraw from the plan.
A spokesperson for ZF stated, "Wolfspeed is responsible for the project. ZF has always provided intensive and active support here," in an emailed statement.
